Joan Didion Collection - Book Concept

Joan Didion was an American writer and journalist with a cult following. Readers adore her nuanced perspectives and unique writing style. This collection is for die hard Didion-heads that are in the market for high quality, collectors edition copies of her work.

 

The hand-done, eccentric typography is inspired by Didion’s voice and her tactful approach to a variety of subjects. Each typographic composition was drawn with a different medium, from glue to honey to lipstick, to represent the variety of subjects explored in each book. Each book has a matching mini license plate bookmark displaying Didion's iconic yellow corvette.
